Providing quality support in the community for adults with learning difficulties

Help!

Hi

As you are all well aware Irene is organising a Christmas Raffle to raise funds for the A.L.D. Club. and has organised printed raffle tickets which are now being sold out in the community.

The first and second and third prizes are to be shopping bags, one with items like, biscuits, tinned goods, any non-perishable items.

The second and third prize will be a toiletries bag (one for Ladies and one for men).

Can you please help me by sending in items to help fill any of these bags.

In addition If you have any unwanted gifts you can donate that could be used as additional prizes I would be very grateful to receive these.

If anyone would like to help Irene in any way please, contact her on 07790740427.

It would be much appreciated

About Us

The A.L.D. Club is a parent run group for people with learning difficulties and has been established for over 20 years.

We are based in Dinnington, near Rotherham and meetings take place once a week, generally on a Tuesday evening at Middleton Hall.

We would welcome new members from the Sheffield and South Yorkshire region.

Our Aims & Objectives

The A.L.D. Club is dedicated to helping each individual to set their own programme of activities.

We provide a safe, friendly environment for those with learning difficulties to take part in activities that they enjoy.

Staff

We have three Adult Leaders who are there to support and advise members at all times.

Our leaders are all fully qualified and DBS checked.

Activities

Members get the chance to plan their own activities with the assistance of our Adult Leaders.

These can be community based such as bowling, visiting the local theatre and going out for meals or a for a drink.

We also have activities in Middleton Hall such as Bingo, Karaoke, Pool and Crafts.
